        Our story is one of a boy and his supportive dad, working together to create something new, different, better.  We didn’t plan to start a business.  We just wanted to go kayaking together.  But you can’t rent a kayak or SUP just anywhere.  And when you come from a big family (we have 6 kids), you can’t reasonably buy boats for everyone.  You also can’t fit 6 kayaks on the top of your car (nevermind the other challenges and costs inherent to owning, moving, and storing kayaks).   

    So when we suggested to a local park on a lake that it would be great if they someday rented kayaks and SUPs, they said they might if we started the business.  So we thought about how to best do that.  And here we are today.  We really appreciate each and every one of our patrons and their support.  We strive to continually improve our model.  

    So go out and have some good and safe fun on the water.  Know you’re supporting teens saving for college and a father and son bond.  And if you have a kid or sibling of appropriate age, take them with you on the water and create some majestic memories to last a lifetime!

Every year we work to minimize our carbon footprint. Additionally, we plant endangered redwood trees in climates in which they thrive, well in excess of our carbon footprint. Renting kayaks is far more sustainable for the environment than buying them. We also use recyclable products whenever possible and safe.
